Here and Back Again is a hobby project that endeavours to explore, appreciate, and adventure in Tolkien’s Legendarium through the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game (MESBG). Collecting armies, painting miniatures, building terrain, battling out scenarios, organizing campaigns, hosting events, and re-creating the great events of The Lord of the Rings books and films will all find a focus here at Here and Back Again.

This site, hereandbackagain.ca, is the main home and hub of all things HABA, although you can also find our material through Reddit at u/habamesbg, and on YouTube at HereAndBackAgainYT.

While this hobby project is primarily focused on documenting personal hobby progress and efforts (everything from hosting games to building location-specific boards to painting whole armies), this site will also serve to organize and present all aspects of the MESBG hobby (everything from breakdowns of other content creators to providing previous iterations of scenarios and characters to timelines of past editions).
